How long does the ceramic coating last?

Adam's Polishes Professional Grade Ceramic Coating is rated for up to 10 years with proper maintenance. However, longevity is entirely dependent on how well the vehicle is maintained and the conditions it is kept in. A coating without proper maintenance is unlikely to reach its full lifespan — maintenance is critical.

Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?

Paint correction is not always required, but it is highly recommended. A properly corrected and prepped surface ensures the ceramic coating bonds correctly to the paint, which is essential for both the look and the longevity of the coating. Applying a coating over swirls, scratches, or contamination effectively locks those imperfections in permanently.

How long does the full process take?

Typically about 2 days. After coating application, the vehicle must cure for a minimum of 24 hours before being exposed to outside elements — rain, dust, sunlight, etc. Rushing the cure time compromises the bond and long-term performance of the coating, which is why we never cut it short.

Do you come to me, or do I bring the car to you?

Both. We offer full mobile service throughout Orange County and also welcome clients at our shop in Anaheim, CA. Choose whichever is most convenient for you.

How do I maintain my ceramic coating?

Maintenance is the single most important factor in getting the full life out of your coating. As part of our service, we walk you through exactly which products to use and the proper techniques to ensure your coating is being cared for correctly — protecting your investment long-term.
